Four Poles die in fire in Berlin

Four Polish nationals have died in a fire that damaged an apartment building in Berlin last night. Police spokesman Thomas Piotrovski confirmed that among the 8 victims are four Poles - a 35 year old man and his three children. The other victims were of Bosnian descent.

This was one of the deadliest fires in the capital of Germany. According to initial reports, the fire was caused by arson but police rule out political motives for the time being.
