Worth adding that a leader of LPR will probably not win his seat, thus the leadership (or at least some form of it) will pass to Wrzodak.

Well the most sad thing in this poll, is frequency. I'm not glad of new premiere (leader of PiS...he behave sometimes like small nazi-socialist). 40,6% of Polish citizens went to vote. And we (Polish men) say that democracy is the best type of goverment.
It's hypocrisy or an stupidity?

Viader: My girlfriend was the only one in her family to vote. They were all simply too lazy. Can they complain about who's now in government? What about you? Did most of the Poles you know vote?
I still think that there's a good 5 or 10 percent in that 60 that didn't vote who would have voted for Democraci. But they didn't bother to do their homework, and they just didn't care.

I wasn't voting..I'm 16, but my family was voting (on PO). All. Even the grandma.
Of course, it would an preludium to dicatorship if we had an majority of people who aren't interested in political life. Most of Poles are complaing on the stealing public money, degreasing the authority of goverment (example? Renata Beger, the Sejm member had an interview with famous tabloid. All Poles know what she said: "I love sex like horse loves oat ")

You may be right, but still Poland has a lot to be thankful for. It's not at the height of development, but its democracy is progressing along nicely. Maybe this low turnout is a sign that Poland is becoming more used to its democracy. Look at the turnout rates in places like the US.
Still, I'm glad to hear your whole family voted. And I agree with you, those who didn't vote have no right to complain.

What's LPR without Giertych?
It was too much to hope for, I guess.

Giertych didn't call this year's elections a failure, but rather a 'delayed victory'... :)
In his book, he said his party would take power in 2009.
But if this election's results are anything to go by, it's a prediction that won't come true.
Still, he's only 34, and got a potentially long career ahead of him. My guess is we'll be complaining about him for a long time.
